She lashed out after a sarcastic tweet from Trump Jr. about her weight and a recent COVID-19 test.
Navarro and co-host Sonny Hostin were ripped from the air Friday when they both tested positive for COVID-19 as vice president Kamala harris he was waiting behind the scenes to appear on the show. The exams turned out to be false positives.
Hours after Navarro discovered that he did not have the disease on Friday, the former president’s eldest son tweeted: “Given the news of Ana Navarro, I think it is time for a national conversation about the dangers of COVID-19 and obesity. “
Navarro made his own sarcastic comment Monday about Donald Trump’s weight and, directing his comments to his son, asked: gall to mess with me?
She added: “Honey, if you want to have a conversation about COVID and obesity, you could have had it last October when your elderly and obese father” contracted the disease.
He said it’s a legitimate conversation, but reminded Trump Jr. on Twitter that “your father is only a phone call away, assuming he answers your calls.”
“Apparently” Trump Jr. “thought it appropriate to take advantage of the fake news that I had COVID to test my weight,” Navarro said at the beginning of his attack on “The View.”
“Honey, I take a shot at my weight every day, okay? Unlike you, I have a mirror and I know I have a weight problem, “he added.
He posted a short video of his comments on Twitter and referred to Trump Jr. as a “nepotism cartel boy.”
