We started with the North London derby, when Arsenal’s incredible performance in the first half sank a pitiful Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates. We were too quick to judge Mikel Arteta’s team? Or can’t they be properly evaluated against such a mediocre Spurs team?

Then we review Manchester United’s home loss to Aston Villa, while Bruno Fernandes writes an essay to explain why he dared to miss a penalty in injury time. We also talked about Manchester City’s impressive victory at Stamford Bridge and the weekend’s game between Brentford and Liverpool.

Finally, we asked if there is a reason why a quarter of the teams in the league have yet to win, marvel at the killer qualities of the Macauley Bonne of Ipswich and read a beautiful email from one of our listeners, Chris.

I return on Wednesday.
