Big E’s next fight begins, a big change was hinted at in the WWE Draft during Monday Night Raw

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw closed with a steel cage match between WWE Champion Big E and Bobby Lashley.

Big E and Lashley wrestled before on the show, but the match was called off after a fight broke out between The New Day and Hurt Business reunited. The cage match was announced to prevent the fighters from interfering.

Despite the promise that there would be no interference, members of The New Day and The Hurt Business got involved at ringside and Kingston had a trust fall off the side of the cage on Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin.

Later in the match, Big E retained his title after hitting the Big Ending from the second string. After the match, Drew McIntyre came out with his sword and looked at Big E, so it’s clear that Big E is now moving towards his next fight.

As for Lashley, based on Vince McMahon’s track record, wrestlers are usually out of a job before moving to a different brand because the mindset is that fans will forget their recent losses and he will start over with a new brand. It looks like Lashley will be moving to SmackDown in the WWE Draft.
