Bill cosby think R. Kelly got an unfair deal with a guilty verdict in your federal sex crimes case … and you are blaming Gloria Allred and systemic racism.
We have the spokesperson for Cosby, Andrew Wyatt, at Avra in Beverly Hills and asked what her client’s reaction was to Kelly’s conviction on all 9 counts. He told us that Cosby said, “The guy was convicted.”
Naturally, Gloria is drawing most of Cosby and Wyatt’s ire … she represented the alleged victims in both Cosby’s and Kelly’s cases, and Andrew says he has a family playbook.
How we reported … R. Kelly Was found guilty Monday on 9 federal charges, including extortion, sex crimes, kidnapping, obstruction of justice and human trafficking.
While Kelly is awaiting 10 years to life in prison when he is sentenced in May, Wyatt told us he does not believe the disgraced singer will be sentenced, because an appeals court will overturn the conviction.
He is confident that Kelly will one day go free, just like Cosby, but there is a big difference between their cases.
Cosby’s release from prison It wasn’t about his guilt or innocence, it happened because the district attorney screwed him up with a deal he had made to avoid prosecution. As far as we know, Kelly had no such treatment.
The Cosby representative also shot Gloria more and believes racism played a key factor in Kelly’s conviction.
