Louisa Lytton, who plays the manipulative Ruby Allen in EastEnders she left the program to go on maternity leave in July. After giving birth in August, Louisa has revealed her baby’s name as Aura Olivia Bhanvra and the name has family roots.
Louisa spoke about her baby’s name to OKAY! Magazine, saying that: “Olivia is my grandmother’s middle name.
“People keep asking us where Aura comes from, but we really don’t know! It was on our list. We both loved the name and we don’t know anyone else with it.”
The actress’s birth experience was not easy, as she endured an intense three-day labor, until doctors decided to perform an emergency cesarean section. However, Louisa has taken the experience in stride and explains: “It has definitely made me appreciate my body more. It is an absolute miracle.”
“It came a few days early, but after my contractions started, it really took its time. I was in labor for three days and ended up having an emergency C-section. It’s clearly going to be very dramatic like her mom!” Louisa said.
Louisa and her fiancé Ben Bhanvra have shared their utter joy and adoration after the birth of their beautiful daughter, and they said OK! Magazine that: “We were sobbing!
“It was an ordeal taking her there that, when she was there, we were so relieved. We didn’t know what to do with ourselves. I cried for two days afterward. I couldn’t believe I was here.”
They also explained the fact that they are absolutely loving about fatherhood.
“It’s just for the best. Time goes by so fast that I can’t stand it. I don’t want to curse ourselves, but it seems like we’ve relaxed. Obviously, we’re exhausted, but it seems like it’s coming quite naturally. We really couldn’t ask for anything more. Louisa replied.
“I really love it. I didn’t realize how interested I would be,” added Ben.
Louisa’s character, Ruby Allen, in EastEnders have suffered from endometriosis and have had trouble getting pregnant. But Louisa felt it was an important story to focus on, regardless of her pregnancy in real life.
Recently, after getting pregnant, Ruby was arrested after Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) told police that she was his connection to drugs.
Her husband, Martin Fowler (James Bye), did not believe she was pregnant as he lost confidence in her after months of lying and hiding the fact that she had cheated on Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and sent her to prison. .
But, in a cruel twist, Martin’s disbelief has left him homeless and jobless after Ruby emptied his bank account and sold his house under him.
