Here’s a great deal … Freddy Krueger’s famous shaving glove and Michael Myers mask can be yours, if you’re willing to go out of your way for a costume.
The folks at the Prop Store are about to hold an auction for some of the most iconic horror movie props ever created – over 1,000 pieces of movie and TV memorabilia that could fetch up to $ 7.6 million.
There’s no question about it … Freddy Krueger’s sharp-fingered glove from “A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors” should be getting a hefty offer. It is estimated that it will generate between $ 27,600 and up to $ 41,400.
The same goes for Michael Myers’ mask from “Halloween: Resurrection,” the eighth film in that franchise.
Not in the mood for the bloody glove or scary mask? There are also other interesting things. Like the “Elf” costume Will ferrell wore in the 2003 classic. There is also the Gryffindor House robe for Hogwarts students from “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2”. That robe could cost up to $ 21,000.
There is practically something for everyone here. Like the screen of Batman’s sonar bat suit from “Batman Forever.” People at the auction expect a little over $ 82,000 to be raised.
Tobey MaguireThe Spider-Man costume from “Spider-Man 3” is also available … and is expected to fetch around $ 70k.
The bad news is that the winning bidders will have to wait until next Halloween to show off, because the auction doesn’t take place until November 9-11.
If you miss it, it could haunt your dreams.
