Hyderabad: Movie hero, Hindupuram MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has made sensational comments on the movie ticket controversy in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Criticisms have been heaped on the AP government’s handling of movie tickets. Today, he feels that Nathude, who cares about the problems of Tollywood, is gone. That is why the AP has called on the entire Telugu film industry to fight together on the issue of movie tickets.
Balakrishnan asked the two governments of the Telugu states to cooperate in the field of cinema. He said he would abide by any decision taken by the Andhra Pradesh government on movie ticket prices. However, the AP government says that there is no difference between a small film and a big film. Balayya said that if a big hero movie flops, it is called a short movie and if a small hero movie hits, it is called a big movie.
Balayya is hopeful that the movie ticket issue in AP will come to a head soon. He was of the opinion that someone needed to come forward and tell the government about the industry problems. Telugu cinema aspires to flourish as three flowers and six nuts. He said that lakhs of people depended on the film industry and asked the AP and Telangana governments to co-operate to provide employment to all of them.
