Nervos Network Partners with Pastel to Offer Protection Against NFT Scams and Hacks

By | January 11, 2022

An open source blockchain ecosystem and set of interoperable protocols, Network nerves, has teamed up with Pastel, revealing their ambition to increase their presence in the NFT space.

As a result of partnering with the first fully dedicated and decentralized blockchain for NFT, Nervos will integrate Pastel’s ‘Sense’ and ‘Cascade’ protocols into the ecosystem.

Strengthen the security of NFTs

“For current and future NFT platforms on the Nervos Network, this means that NFTs will be minted with permanent storage, lossless and certifiable rarity,” said Pastel co-founder Anthony Georgiades. CryptoSlate.

The Pastel protocols to be implemented by Nervos include Sense, a near duplicate detection system for NFT, and Cascade, a robust NFT daisy chain storage solution.

Pastel’s Sense protocol is designed to assess the relative rarity of a given NFT against near-duplicate metadata and protect NFT creators, collectors, buyers, and sellers from copyright infringement and scams.

“For new users entering the space, this would be very beneficial. The world of NFTs can seem daunting from afar, so knowing that what you’re buying is rare gives users a huge boost of confidence, ”said Georgiades.

Meanwhile, Pastel’s Cascade protocol is designed to offer permanent storage for NFT, aimed at combating carpet pulls, NFT disappearances, data loss and tampering.

Now think about what the NFT space would look like with a robust and sustainable storage protocol. Today’s storage solutions depend on individuals to maintain the data that is stored. Once maintenance is removed, the NFT data is lost, “added Georgiades, explaining how Cascade combats these issues by leveraging” lossless storage. “

The infrastructure to enforce the security of NFTs

“The NFT space is full of opportunities, but few projects address security and storage issues in the industry. With its innovative technologies, Pastel is solving many of these challenges and truly protecting users and digital assets in NFT dApps, ”said Nervos co-founder Kevin Wang.

The announcement follows on the heels of Pastel’s recent partnership with TomoChain, reflecting growing demand for its unique infrastructure solutions for NFT.

Nervos users can now participate in ecosystem-hosted NFT platforms with additional layers of security, whether they are minting or purchasing NFT.

“As more and more users in the NFT space realize the importance of this additional security, Nervos will already be one step ahead,” concluded Georgiades.
