Ted Cruz ‘supports’ unvaccinated Andrew Wiggins, tells LeBron James to boycott Warriors games

Texas Senator Ted Cruz, a Looks like Grayson Allen who once played a one-on-one game against Jimmy Kimmel for two hours, has gotten into the NBA’s COVID-19 vaccination status speech.

On a wednesday Twitter thread, the Republican Senator – who is vaccinated – tweeted that he “supports” a number of allegedly unvaccinated NBA players, including warriors of the golden state forward Andrew Wiggins. Just in case, the senator added the hashtag, “#YourBodyYourChoice,” apparently a bit of trolling given his anti-abortion views.

Cruz went on to cite Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, also vaccinated, who said he was initially skeptical of receiving the vaccine.

“We are talking about the body and the well-being of people. I don’t think I personally should be involved in what other people should do for their bodies and their livelihoods, “Cruz quoted James as saying.

The quote is accurate, but James went on to say, “I know I was very [skeptical] Above all, but after doing my research, I felt that it was more suitable not only for me, but also for my family and my friends. “

“@KingJames is being brave here,” Cruz wrote. “With his box office power, he could be even more courageous, he could SOLVE the problem, saying, ‘I’m with my fellow players. And I will not play in any stadium that bans another NBA player because not a personal health care choice.’ “.

Under the current order of the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Wiggins should be vaccinated to be able to play at home at the Chase Center this season.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are largely 100% vaccinated, so they are not at a competitive disadvantage. There is no chance that James, who has a questionable boycott Overall record: Voluntarily does not participate in Warriors road games in solidarity with Wiggins and Cruz.
