Director Dexter Fletcher tosses the kitchen sink and whatever else he can find in his big, sassy, sassy Elton John biopic. Bell as his lyricist Bernie. Taupin. But you never really get to know the person at the center of the movie. However, the music is great. And you can see more of that later by the man himself in The red piano (11:20 pm), a 2005 television special from Elton’s Caesars Palace concert residence.
