Wondering what’s airing on Binge this month? Lots of shows are coming back with new seasons.
Most of Australia’s east coast will come out of lockdown this month, but I’m sure we can agree that there is still plenty of time for transmission.
Drunkenness* has a bevy of new offerings launching in October, including a thought-provoking HBO documentary from Monica Lewinsky and a new season of Saturday night live!.
Here are some of the highlights, with the full streaming list below.
15 minutes of shame (October 8): Monica Lewinsky has partnered with Catfish to filmmaker Max Joseph for a deep dive into the world of cancellation culture and social media. Lewinsky, of course, is no stranger to public embarrassment as the former White House intern who had an affair with then-US President Bill Clinton in 1996.
S4 Legacies (October 15): The successful spin-off of The vampire diaries and The originals is back for its fourth season as the world’s only living tribrid, Hope Mikealson, prepares to face greater danger than ever. For those who don’t know, a tribrid is a witch, a werewolf AND a vampire. Can this new threat overcome it?
Insecure S5 (October 25): The Emmy-winning comedy series returns with 10 episodes for its fifth and final season. Isaa Rae is back as Issa Dee, who juggles her professional and personal life in Los Angeles alongside her best friend Molly (Yvonne Orji). The new season will begin with the main cast as They evaluate their relationships, both new and old, in an effort to navigate the next phase of their lives.
